Experience the very essence of Andalusia in a week-long journey, the highlight of which is the hauntingly beautiful Semana Santa procession in Seville. One of Catholicism’s most vivid and moving displays, the ritual has taken place since the Middle Ages, and sees the city taken over by solemn candle-lit processions where extraordinary pasos (floats) of great antiquity and artistry are hauled on shoulder through miles and miles of historic laneways and streets.

A collaboration between ALUZ experiences and PRIOR´s travelers´club allows members to enjoy the rare opportunity to witness the spectacle not from the overrun streets, but from the first-floor balcony of a private palace with a coveted vantage point of one of the world’s most powerful and exquisite displays of religion and tradition.

During the rest of your journey, PRIOR will lead you throughout Andalusia with experiences including exploration of Jerez de la Frontera and its surrounding sherry vineyards, a private visit to a purebred Carthusian horse farm and discovery of the historic Pueblos Blancos (“white towns”).
